Yeppoon Pre-schools and Primary Schools

Byfield State Primary School 
Byfield State Primary School is located approximately 30 km north west of Yeppoon. It's a small, close-knit school with a focus on caring for students and teachers, as well as involvement in the community.

Emu Park State Primary School 
Emu Park State Primary School is located about 25 km south of Yeppoon, with approximately 230 students attending. It boasts air conditioned classrooms, a computer lab, cooking room and manual arts shed.

Farnborough State Pre & Primary School 
Farnborough State Pre & Primary School is located about 10 km north of Yeppoon, only a few minutes away from Bangalee Beach. Every year students and teachers help to host Farnborough Fair, which is a major local fundraiser.

Keppel Sands State Primary School 
Keppel Sands State Primary School is probably one of the nicest on the coast, about 40km south of Yeppoon. Students enjoy the relaxed atmosphere with after-school games on the beach.

Sacred Heart Pre & Primary School 
Sacred Heart Pre & Primary School is about 5 km from the centre of Yeppoon. As a Catholic School, it strives to be a community where Christ's teachings are recognised in students and staff.

Taranganba State School 
Taranganba State School is approximately 4 km from the centre of Yeppoon, and probably the second biggest state primary school in Yeppoon. Facilities include interactive whiteboards, air conditioned classrooms and two playgrounds.

Yeppoon State Primary School
Yeppoon State Primary School is the main primary school on the Capricorn Coast, tucked away in a traffic-free area. Facilities include a permanent dental building, adventure playground, swimming pool and 10 hectares of school land. The school has a student population of approximately 400 students.

Yeppoon High Schools and Boarding Schools

St. Brendan's College 
St. Brendan's College is a large private boys' school just out of Yeppoon, with a proud tradition of proving quality education. In addition to a strong academic curriculum they have exceptional agricultural, sporting and music programs.

St. Ursula's College
St. Ursula's is a private girls' school located in the centre of Yeppoon. The school has a close liaison with St. Brendan's College, due to families sending their children to both schools. Mixed classes are taught in years 11 & 12 with St. Brendan's College students.

Yeppoon State High School 
Yeppoon State High School is the only state high school on the Capricorn Coast, located a few kilometres from the centre of Yeppoon. The school has an excellent alternative learning program for catering to students, including such subjects as electronics, outdoor education and bike maintenance.
